We have had a fun first day in Rome. The weather is beautiful, and the city is very clean.
We asked the driver who took us to our apartment last night if the cars stopped for you if you were on a zebra crossing. He assured us yes, but today we have proven that theory wrong.
You have to watch the cars in every direction.
We’ve had our first gelato which was very yummy.
Mariola went shoe shopping and she was in heaven although it was not my idea of shoe shopping 😊
We did lots of sight seeing and did a little tour of the most beautiful church called St Johns Basilica. Truly amazing. The craftsmanship was exquisite.
Off to dinner now !
